It is easy to call out the wrongs of society but our job is to create change on the street level where it counts. Every action, every dollar and all energy and resources will manifest direct tangible change. We can no longer wait for change to trickle down from any level of government or from the handouts of organizations and corporations. It is not enough to give out fish, we need to help teach how to fish. Human, social and environmental sustainability and self sufficiency is our goal and they are all intertwined. Our earth, humanity and existence depend on us.
